WITH large bank accounts and access to the best make up artists, we are often used to seeing the stars dressed to the nines on the ruby carpeting.

But a new app has revealed what many large names might await similar when they haven't been preened to perfection.

An app called MakeApp reveals what stars such as the flawless Duchess of Cambridge could look like without make-upwardly

The MakeApp works by digitally "removing" all traces of make up from photos so faces appear to be au naturel.

And to show the dramatic effects of the app, a number of showbiz stars have undergone the brand-under experience.

Included in the batch are celebs such as Kate Middleton, Cheryl Cole and Emma Watson.
